After last year’s success, we are running another Ladies Week—a relaxed and supportive way for women to build confidence on the water. This 5-day RYA course is perfect for those working towards their RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper qualification, as well as those who simply want to improve their sailing skills and gain more hands-on experience.
The course takes place on Scotland’s stunning west coast and is led by our Yachtmaster Instructor Sally, a highly experienced instructor known for her calm and encouraging approach. You will practice key skills like boat handling, mooring, sail trimming, anchoring and passage planning, all in a friendly, no-pressure environment. Expect plenty of hands-on experience and an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are new to sailing or looking to refine your skills, this course offers a fantastic mix of learning, teamwork, and fun on the water.
The price is £649 and includes:
- 5 nights on board;
- All on board meals and snacks;
- Fuel and gas;
- All marina and harbour fees.
Optional extras:
- Oil skins hire - £3.50 per item/day;
- Cleaning fee £12.50/per person or the crew can clean the boat;
- Sleeping bag can be hired at just £25 per period.
The course starts on Sunday at 18:30 and finishes on Friday around noon in Largs.
